Hope you’re all having a super nice and relaxing Sunday. I just shared the recipe for this very simple but effective Ayurvedic tonic for healthy weight loss. This drink is amazing for improving digestion and speeding up your metabolism, it’s also amazing for losing stubborn belly fat.
Ayurveda is one of my absolute favorite traditional medicines, and I have the privilege of learning from an amazing Ayurvedic teacher at my holistic nutrition program. The uses of herbs and spices are key in Ayurveda and this tea is full of amazing properties for “warming Agni”.
Ayurvedic Weight Loss Drink
500 ml warm tea
2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar, with “mother”
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
1/4 tsp paprika or cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp ginger powder
Stevia to taste or raw, organic honey
Mix all ingredients and add warm/hot water. Add stevia to taste or 1 tsp raw honey and drink preferably on an empty stomach twice a day for 2 weeks or as suggested by practitioner.
I don’t recommend this for people with ulcers or other inflammatory digestive issues. For pregnancy and lactation avoid.
