Today I can’t wait to share with you this super easy and SO yummy spread that seriously you will want to put on everything! I’ve been loving it lately and it is just the perfect treat post workout or whenever I feel like something sweet but keeping it healthy!
Gastrawnomica’s Vegan Almond Chocolate Spread (Paleo Friendly)
Yields 2 cups
2 cups toasted almonds (or use hazelnuts)
1/2 cup cacao powder
1/2 cup water at room temperature
Pinch of cinnamon
1/4 cup maple syrup or any other sweetener of choice
Blend almonds until you start to get a creamy consistency, add the rest of the ingredients and keep blending until smooth. You can use a high speed blender like a Vitamix or a food processor.
Store chocolate spread on the fridge on a mason jar. Can keep up to 7 days.
