Sorry for the lack of posts last week, but if you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, probably you saw that I was at the Woodstock Fruit Festival. It was such an amazing experience, my words are really just not enough to tell you how great it was.
Everything, from beginning to end was absolutely incredible. Every single person in the festival was so full of love, kindness and so talented! There was people from all over the world, and the place where we stayed was beautiful too.
We had a lake right in front of us, many different activities to choose from every day, and the food… Oh goodness, how can I even describe it?
Every night we would all get together at dinner time, with live music, sitting in the grass enjoying our beautiful (and huge) bowls of raw foods that the amazing people in the kitchen would prepare for us. It was a buffet, so you could choose what you wanted, how much you wanted and they had a little bit of everything, plus a special meal for every night.
For me, beyond food, the experience was about community. It felt like we were all a big, happy family. Hugs, smiles and fun everywhere, everywhere!
If you were following me on Instagram, you probably saw some of my daily pictures, but they really don’t say much of all the things happening during the day.
We would go to “durian parties” almost every night, and have the most delicious durians at one of my friend’s cabins. We were like 10 people eating durians like there was no tomorrow, it was just hilarious and delicious!
This is just s short recap from the festival, but I wanted to post some pictures before I start uploading some new recipes that are more than ready to be shared!
Tomorrow’s recipe is gonna make you fall out of your seat. Seriously. Oh gosh, can’t wait to post it! Amazingly delicious, super easy and can be low fat if you want to. But won’t get into that until tomorrow…
Have a lovely week! TTYS!!
