I know you all are enjoying my latest recipes a lot, which makes me super happy! So, like you might have seen yesterday on facebook or Instagram, a new (unplanned) recipe happened in my beautiful vegan kitchen!
This was one of the most amazing meals I’ve ever had, for real! Everything was just in the perfect ratio and every bite was just pure heaven! The idea of making a step-by-step blog post on how to make your own pizza crusts came to me a couple of weeks ago when I first did these, but the taco and pizza was totally unplanned.
The recipe is pretty simple, and you’ll see how easy and fast it is not just make the crusts, but the whole recipe!
Gastrawnomica’s Oat & Turmeric -All purpose- Crusts
*RAW OR BAKED
Makes 4 medium crusts
100 grs oat flour
2 tsp turmeric
1/2 cup water + 2 tsp
The picture should say more than words right?
*Preheat oven at 350ºF (180ºC). Prepare a cookie sheet with parchment paper, lightly greased underneath.
*If making these raw follow the same steps but instead of baking dehydrate overnight or until crispy.
1. Simply mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
2. Add 1/2 cup water while mixing and the extra 2 tsp one at a time, you might only need one.
3. Put 3 Tbsp of mixture for each crust or if you want to make 1 big crust put all the mixture and shape with the bottom of a spoon.
4. Bake for 15-20 min until edges are turning golden brown but make sure you don’t burn them!
Gastrawnomica’s Zucchini Pizza/Tacos
1 recipe of my Oat & Turmeric -All purpose- Crusts
1 small zucchini, sliced thinly
Tomato Sauce of choice
1 tsp Tahini per pizza (CAN’T be omitted, key ingredient)
1/2 tsp of turmeric and herbes de provence
While baking your crusts (step 4), take the cookie sheet out after around 10 min, when they start getting firmer and a little bit crispy, top with tomato sauce, zucchini slices and in the middle put 1 tsp of tahini, top each one with a pinch of turmeric and herbes de provence.
Continue baking for 10-15 min, tahini must be melting a little bit and zucchini should look cooked.
Take out, top pizza with alfalfa sprouts and serve warm! Tahini is the key ingredient! It gives you that cheese consistency and makes the whole recipe go to another level. To make the tacos, simple take the pizza from both edges and close like a taco. Serve.
