I’ve been very “active” in Instagram lately, it’s so addictive! And I’ve been experimenting so much with my food and making some fun things in the kitchen that Instagram is the first place where you’ll see everything “behind the scenes”.
So after a couple of successful experiments, I decided to post some of my new recipes on the blog, both raw and cooked. Today I’ll post the raw recipes which are pretty simple and basic, yet sometimes you’re craving for something sweet and these two come handy for those times!
Meat from 1 coconut
Juice from 1 big orange or 2 small
Zest from 1 orange
1 Tbsp of liquid sweetener of choice or soaked dates
Blend all the ingredients in a high speed blender until creamy and smooth. Put on a plastic container and freeze until firm. Take out and flip it up side down to take it out. Cut and serve! Delicious, simple and perfect for the summer!
Another simple recipe is one I did a while ago, when I was in Mexico. It’s a super simple orange sorbet that you can make anytime!
Place all ingredients in a food processor or a blender. Mix at low speed to start, scraping down sides as necessary, until smooth.
Serve immediately, I waited too long to take the picture, but it is super creamy, you can add some frozen mango too! Avoid making big quantities because it becomes hard as a rock in the freezer. But you can eat it the next day anyways, just leave 10-15 min outside before serving. Yumm!
I’ll post new recipes that are cooked but also you can make raw! And don’t forget to check out my facebook page and don’t miss any updates!
