As many of you may have seen, if you follow my facebook page, while my mom was here we did so many different things, I actually felt like a tourist again! I had such a nice time with her around! It was the first time since I moved to Montreal that she came to visit me, I was the one always traveling back to Mexico; so showing her all the beautiful things around was awesome.
We continued our hunt for vegan restaurants! We went to Crudessence, Aux Vivres, The Green Panther and a health food store called Health Tree that sells delicious, ready to go, raw and cooked vegan food from their fresh kitchen.
Now into food! Ok so I made this amazing Mexican inspired salad back in Mexico! I used only mexican flavors that go well with pretty much everything! It is a great salad for both raw and cooked eaters! My family ate it with some corn tostadas and I enjoyed it with some fresh romaine lettuce and even made some wraps with it and extra veggies like jicama, zucchini and carrots.
It is so simple to make you’ll be surprised! You just need to follow video instructions and it will be done in less than 5 min! Just prepare all your ingredients, toss them together and voilà! There you have it!
