Hello people!
How’s your holiday time going so far? Mine has been AMAZING! I’ve been enjoying so much being here in Mexico! It’s not just being back home but spending quality time with my family and seeing my old friends has made of this holiday season really special!
My time here has come to an end. I don’t wan to leave, at least not yet. But I have no choice, this was my decision, I chose to live in Montreal, I chose to live -40ยบ, I chose to be far away from my love ones, but I also chose to follow my dreams and give my best to succeed in it.
I wish my university and all the opportunities Canada gives me where in Mexico or that my family was in Montreal. I think we need to learn how to deal with every situation life puts us on. I’ve seen amazing people having a smile on their faces all the time even though they are passing through hard times.
Life is all about the journey and what attitude we decide to take. I decide to be happy no matter what!
And talking about happiness…. I will share with you something that I think will make you and your love ones really happy!
Remember my last post with Santa’s cookies? Well, I’m using the same recipe but I gave it a whole new touch!
We’re still celebrating the holidays so if you still want to share some raw food with your family or friends these are super easy, beautiful and delicious!
I made Holiday 811 Truffles using the same cookie dough for the Santa’s cookies. This are great if you’re looking for a holiday gift, they are easy to make and they have a nice presentation.
Gastrawnomica’s Christmas Truffles
1 cup dates, pitted
1 cup dried figs
1/2 cup raisins
Pinch of cinnamon
Blend in food processor and form a dough. Follow video to see how to form the truffles and how to serve it.
Sorry about the bad audio, something happened with the camera. Don’t worry! Next are better!
Happy Wednesday!
