How was everyone’s weekend? Last week was so nice for me! Being here in Mexico with my family and friends brings me so much joy!
Like I said last post I went to the market and found really great fruits, fresh and most of them new to me. Can you believe I lived 17 years in Mexico and I’m still discovering tons of fruit I had never even heard about before? I love the market here, people is so friendly, everything is quite cheap and you can feel the freshness in every product.
They receive almost every day new produce that goes from fruits and vegetables to a wide variety of flowers as well as fresh meat and fish that comes from the coast. But I only stay around the hundreds of fresh veggies and fruits to pick the best ones!
Anyways, during the weekend I created a new recipe again! Oh my, oh my! It was SO good! I mean seriously! It was like eating pumpkin pie all over my mouth! My mom tried it too and she gave her approval, yeei!
I used the flesh of ripe sapodillas.
The recipe is “Un-Pumpkin” Pie Parfait, but you can use the filling and make a pie using the same crust I used for the chocolate pie. This week I’ll share more videos for savory meals, but don’t worry, more desserts will be coming soon too!
